After the 2016 Road Map Project Family Engagement Institute, the Community Center for Education Results continued working with regional partners and the Institute for Educational Leadership to build capacity in our school districts. A valuable result of those efforts is the creation of the School District Family Engagement Leaders. By engaging leaders from all seven Road Map Project districts and building their capacity to support schools, we are working toward better advocacy, leadership, and accountability across the education continuum. The next step in our capacity-building is to integrate school leaders and their teams into this work so that we can create a systemic approach to strong family engagement across the Road Map Project region.
