What is the most important lesson you want your children or other young people in your life to learn before adulthood?
La lección de vida más importante que quiero que mis hijos aprendan antes de su adolescencia es que tengan un sentido de espiritualidad en sus vidas . Que tengan Fe en Dios.
The most important lesson for them is that they believe in God and have faith, that they have a spiritual meaning in their lives.

Why is this work for our children and our community so important to you?
Es importante fomentar, fortalecer, transformar las relaciones y la comunicación entre comunidades y las instituciones educativas en las diferentes áreas de la educación en poblaciones con una alta densidad de racismo y desigualdad.
It is important to enhance, strengthen and transform relationships and communication on the different branches of education in communities with high density of inequity and racism.
Teniendo en cuenta todos los lugares y/o espacios donde usted ayuda a otros: ¿En dónde se siente más conectado con la comunidad?
Where do you lead/serve in the community?
Yo uso la tecnología y las redes sociales para mantenerte informada y fortalecer mi crecimiento emocional. Pues creo que este medio de comunicación es una alternativa y un recurso para establecer un medio de conexión entre familias y comunidades que se ha visto afectados por la insolación en estos tiempos difíciles de pandemia.
I use technology and media to inform myself and strengthen my emotional growth and needs. I also believe that this alternative (online) communication method is a source to reach many families and get close to the communities in these difficult times of isolation and keep them informed.
De que manera COVID ha cambiado su dia a dia en la crianza y educación de sus hijos?
How has COVID-19 changed your everyday parenting and education?
Ha sido muy difícil porque no tengo las herramientas y conocimientos educativos para enseñar a mis hijos en el área académica, pero al mismo tiempo a fortalecido otras áreas de aprendizaje del diario vivir en mis hijos como por ejemplo, aprender a cocinar, hacer aseo en casa, organizar, ejercicio, etc.
It has been very difficult because I don’t have the tools to teach my children in the academic area, but it has strengthened other areas of learning for my children such as cooking, cleaning, exercising etc.
Que ha aprendido como padre sobre sus hijos y su familia en esta pandemia?
What have you learned as a parent about your children and family in this pandemic?
Creo que cuando la pandemia comenzó estaba muy preocupada por la salud mental de mi familia pero me di cuenta que mis hijos tienen una capacidad de tolerancia que no conocía tenían para adaptarse a condiciones inesperadas y cambios. Nos hemos adaptado a las nuevas circunstancias que la pandemia nos ha traído.
I think when the pandemic started I was very concerned about their mental health and I realize that my children are very tolerant of untimely changes. We have adapted to the new circumstances that the pandemic brought, and have built tolerance.
De qué manera la falta de interacción personal ha afectado a sus familias en lo que respecta a la educación y la vida familiar?
Has the lack of person to person interaction affected your family in regards to education and family life?
Nos ha afectado en el área académica y educativa porque es muy diferente aprender desde un monitor que estar personalmente con un maestro y en un lugar designado de aprendizaje como la escuela.
It has affected us in the academic-education area because it is different to learn from a monitor than personally with a teacher and a designated school.
Ahora que sus hijos están en casa aprendiendo a distancia, siente más respeto o simpatía por los maestros?
Now that your children are at home doing remote learning, do you have a newfound respect for teachers?

Qué papel han jugado el racismo y la inequidad en su educación?
What part has racism and inequity played in your education?
He tenido experiencias de racismo en el transcurso de mi vida y esto me ha motivado a educarme en el ámbito y educar a mis hijos,, enseñarles que respeten a todas las personas y cultivar sus valores que los hagan crecer académicamente, emocional y espiritualmente.
I have had experiences of racism in the course of my life, and this has prompted me to educate myself in this field and educate my children to respect all people, and to cultivate values that make them grow, academically, emotionally and spiritually.
¿Quién fue su maestro favorito o cuál fue su película favorita con la que usted creció y por qué?
Who was your favorite teacher or movie growing up and why?
Mi película favorita en la me proyectado se llama “ La Vida Secreta de Walter Mitty” Habla de transformación, coraje, ser valiente, resiliente, consciente, sabiduría y felicidad.
My favorite movie is “The secret life of Walter Mitty.” because it talks about transformation, courage, being brave, resilient, awareness, wisdom and happiness.
