The Road Map Project released a Baseline Report in 2011 showing education landscape in South King County and South Seattle. The report illuminates a critical need for system improvement, especially for children of color, and urges action from all sectors of the community. The “bright spots” highlighted in the report show that although people across the region have been working to support student success, the work is often isolated. Our task is to scale these actions so that equitable education results become the norm, not the exception.
