This report from the Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions features work in communities where district-community collaboration has supported large-scale reengagement of opportunity youth. The Road Map Project region is one of four communities featured for making significant inroads; capitalizing on local resources and opportunities; and supporting creative partnerships between districts, community-based organizations, community colleges and local government. The report details a spectrum of lessons learned, including how to set up strong partnerships, the key elements of quality programs for reengaged youth, and supportive policy work.
