Sebrena is a long-time Seattle community and education advocate. She has previously served as the president of the Seattle Council Parent Teacher Student Association and as a state delegate for National Parent Teacher Association, where she strove to include eliminating opportunity gaps in the PTA legislative platform. She started her education advocacy work in early learning and was instrumental in developing the PTA Urban Family Engagement Network. Sebrena has been recognized for her involvement by Wellspring Family Services, the Children’s Alliance, and the Seattle Central Area Chamber of Commerce.
