Max is a data analyst supporting the Local Improvement Networks, as well as other CCER initiatives. Max studied education at Brown University, where they did research on school climate and racial equity. They also received their Master’s in Teaching from the University of Washington. They worked as a reengagement teacher for youth experiencing homelessness before moving back to the data and research side of education, and their direct service heavily influences how they approach their work. Max’s favorite weekend activity is biking on Lake Washington and then hopping in the water at Seward or Coulon park.
