As a Research Analyst, Kanza has a commitment to prioritizing and leveraging student voices and their experiences in all initiatives she supports in the road map region. Holding a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington, Kanza is deeply passionate about challenging educational systems through an anti-racist lens to foster equitable environments for students and educators from underrepresented communities. Drawing from her extensive background in direct service and macro-level experiences, Kanza aims to address the current gaps in education to create sustainable impacts within the region. Federal Way holds a special place in her heart as her hometown, where she grew up surrounded by family and community. Additionally, Seward Park in South Seattle is her favorite spot to unwind and connect with friends over picnics!
