The Puget Sound Coalition for College and Career Readiness is a group of leaders from Road Map Project region K-12 and higher education systems, as well as the Puget Sound Educational Service District and the state Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Our shared vision is to increase the number and percentage of students who graduate from high school; enroll and persist in college; and graduate from higher education so that they are ready for career opportunities and to pursue their aspirations. The Coalition’s measures of progress include:
- Increase high school graduate rates
- Increase college-going and persistence rates
- Decrease number of students having to take non-credit-bearing college courses
- Increase college graduation and job placement rates with particular attention to family wage jobs
