What we do

The Road Map Project Data Advisors Group is a multisector learning community of education researchers and data administrators from local governments, King County and Washington state government, as well as various community-based organizations, local colleges, and each of the seven Road Map Project districts. Our central function is to uphold Road Map Project vision and values and to support the Project’s action teams and partners achieve regional goals. We support partners with:

  • Measurement strategies grounded in equity
  • Multisector data alignment
  • Advocacy and awareness

Data Advisors Group meetings

The Data Advisors Group is open-membership and volunteer-based. We meet every other month to share best practices, challenges, and policies impacting the region’s children and youth with a focus on equity in data reporting and analysis. Our group provides technical expertise as well as institutional knowledge.

Racial Equity Essentials

The Data Advisors Group's collective work focuses on impacting these system conditions so our students of color are well supported and able to reach their full potential. To measure progress toward these equity essentials, the project will be building out indicators to measure changes across the educational and supporting systems throughout our region.
