The Board of Directors announces the appointment of Interim Executive Director LaEisha Howard to the role of Executive Director of CCER. In October 2023 Ms. Howard was appointed Acting Executive Director, then in January 2024 she became the Interim Executive Director. On April 5, 2024, LaEisha accepted the permanent position of Executive Director for the Community Center for Education Results.

Ms. Howard’s tenure at CCER began in 2019 as a Human Resources consultant. In May 2020 she joined the organization full-time as the Sr. Director of Human Resources and Operations. LaEisha’s background spans over 25 years of Global Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Executive Leadership Coaching in nonprofit and private sectors. In addition to Ms. Howard’s professional expertise, she is an author, writer, and speaker.

Ms. Howard has demonstrated the skills, experience, passion, and leadership the CCER board expects of the Executive Director. We look forward to LaEisha’s leadership of CCER and The Road Map Project as we revitalize the Road Map Project’s place in driving student and family academic success and education systems change throughout the region.
