Kaela is a dedicated education professional with a commitment to empowering the Black community through equitable access to quality education and resources. With over 15 years of experience in the field, she has served in various roles, including Academic Advising, Partner Engagement, and Program Directorship, where she has developed and implemented innovative programs designed to enhance student achievement, foster a sense of belonging, and challenge the status quo. Passionate about community resource building, Kaela believes that pursuing an education path beyond high school is a powerful tool for community and generational change. Her work not only focuses on academic success but also emphasizes the importance of cultural identity and self-fulfillment. Outside of this important work, you can find Kaela engaging in the Arts community or reading a good book.
