Annia Yoshizumi

As a Research Analyst, Annia provides measurement and research support for CCER staff, community members, K-12 districts, colleges, improvement networks, and other Road Map Project partners. She is most passionate about using data as an organizing tool to empower communities and encourage storytelling, particularly for low-income families and communities of color. Annia earned her master of public policy from UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and a bachelor’s in American Ethnic Studies from University of Washington. Her graduate capstone focused on evaluating housing policies that mitigate against displacement of low-income and renters of color in unincorporated Los Angeles. Originally from the Road Map Project region, Annia’s favorite place is the Federal Way area where she frequents her favorite Korean and Vietnamese restaurants.
