Alexis leads various college and career readiness initiatives with partners across the Road Map Project with a focus on the College and Career Leadership Institute. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in sociology with an emphasis in education and diversity from the University of Washington Seattle. In college, she was a Dream Project Mentor at her alma mater and Road Map Project high school, Chief Sealth. In her previous role at College Access Now, she continued to support low-income and first-generation students in the Seattle Public Schools. Her favorite place in the Road Map Project region would have to be White Center because it’s the community she lives in and has amazing restaurants.
