Alejandra leads various college and career readiness initiatives with partners across the Road Map Project, such as the College and Career Leadership Institute. Alejandra’s passion for educational equity comes from her advocacy with and for undocumented students and their families in Washington State and around the nation. Alejandra served as Co-Director for the Beyond HB 1079 Conference, a member of the Dream Educational Empowerment Program (DEEP) National Advisory Council, and is a community organizer with the Washington Dream Coalition. Alejandra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Society, Ethics, and Human Behavior and American and Ethnic Studies, as well as her Master of Education from the University of Washington Bothell. She believes in supporting local businesses and you’ll often see her at pop-up shops, FouLee Market, Pizza Gallery, or Full Tilt Ice Cream!
